Women and Children in Crisis, Inc. (WCC) is a non-profit agency dealing with domestic violence and sexual assault. WCC maintains a safe shelter in the Bartlesville area for victims of domestic violence and / or sexual assault and their children. The agency provides an outreach advocate in the Skiatook office on day each week. Clients can consult with the advocate and be referred for counseling of other services as needed. the mission of the agency staff and volunteers is to reduce and eliminate violence in family and similar relationships through intervention and prevention by providing shelter, counseling, education, advocacy and by changing society's attitudes and systems which permit and promote violence.
